You will need to pay the Resorts normal Daily Membership Fee and all of the facilities of the Resort will be available for your use and enjoyment. However, to participate in any of the Convention activities you must be an AANR Member. You may purchase an AANR Membership at the Resort. In addition, as an AANR Member, you will also be eligible for the reduced rates available to AANR Members during the Convention.

Our DJ John will be hosting a Turtle Lake Resort Dance in the Resort Clubhouse tonight. Join us for a fun and entertaining evening. Weather permitting our Dances may be held at our new Pool/Tiki Bar.
The theme for tonight's Dance is "Convention"
A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 9:00 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

We will be hosting a Fashion show with a bevy of beautiful TLR members as Models. The fashions they are modeling will be auctioned off as they model them around the pool. There will also be a silent "shoe" auction where you will write your bid on the shoes on display and seal it in an envelope till the end of the auction. Envelopes will be opened at the close of the fashion show and the highest silent bid will win!!
There will be minimum bids to defray the costs of the fashions purchased. Most bids will begin at $15 or less. The fashions will include resort wear as well as street wear and shoes!! So bring your money and your drinks and meet us at the pool for a fun an exciting show!! Proceeds from this auction will be used for member and youth activities. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Come play and have fun!

For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $2.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes. Check our Calendar frequently to find out when the scrambles will be held.

The Golf Tour Plus is open to all. You may play any or all of the 6 courses. Registrations should be in the Resort Office no later than July 30 so we can confirm party size with the golf courses. Music Fest returns, bigger and better to Turtle Lake Resort in 2014. For two days, Friday & Saturday, August 22 & 23, the music will ring out once more from our outdoor stage.
This year we are featuring all live bands; "click" on the "2014 TLR Music Fest" link above for the full schedule of bands and entertainment. Our own DJ Ken will be the TLR Emcee for this Year's Music fest.

We have two types of Scavenger Hunts for you to choose from. One is a walking scavenger hunt the other is a golf cart scavenger hunt. You can select to either walk and find the items to match the clues given in the 100 section of Turtle Lake Resort or ride your golf cart throughout all the sections of Turtle Lake Resort from the 100 section to the 400 sections trying to find the items to match the clues given. We provide you with a list of clues for walking or golf cart and ask you to write the corresponding lot number by the clue. This is done as and individual or in teams of two. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. The Scavenger Hunt starts at the Covered Pavilion in front of the Turtle Lake Clubhouse. Come play and have fun!

Holiday Mini-Tourneys
Mini-Tourneys are held on Holiday Weekends. The winning team receives T-shirts. Teams will be evenly divided; "round robin" and playoff games will all be held on the day of the tourneys. Tourneys start at 1:00PM. Entrance fee is $5.00 Sign up by noon. Some tournament experience is recommended.

It has been said that the game originated in Germany in the 14th century, and then was rediscovered in the hills of Kentucky over 100 years ago. The truth is, who really knows, but the game is great fun for all ages and can be played anywhere! It is similar to horseshoes except you use wooden boxes called bean bag platforms which have a hole cut in them and they set at an angle. The bags are usually filled with corn. Contestants take turns pitching their bags at the hole in the platform until a contestant reaches the score of 21 points. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Look for the Event board located at the Turtle Lake Resort's outdoor pool for the sign up sheets. The theme for tonight's Dance is "Sports Teams"
A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 9:00 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $2.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes. Check our Calendar frequently to find out when the scrambles will be held.

Similar in many ways to horseshoes, Ladder Ball (also called Ladder Golf or Bolo Toss) can be played by people of all ages. Ladder Ball is played with 2 or more players or teams. Each player has 3 golf ball bolas. A bola is 2 golf balls attached by a nylon rope. The object of the game is to wrap your bolas around the steps of the ladder. The ladder consists of 3 steps, a top, middle and a bottom step. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort.
