Our DJ Ken will be hosting a Turtle Lake Resort Dance in the Resort Clubhouse tonight. Join us for a fun and entertaining evening. Weather permitting our Dances may be held at our new Pool/Tiki Bar.

The theme for tonight's Dance is "Sock Hop"

A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!

Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 9:00 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Volleyball fans, be sure to come out to TLR for the next Water Volleyball Tournament. The sign up board will be available in the clubhouse Friday night and Saturday morning. If you're interested in playing, please put your name on the list by 12:00 noon to be put in the pool.

After the volleyball there's Potluck supper held in the Clubhouse. All welcome to join in even if you're here for the day and can't bring a contribution!

For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $2.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes. Check our Calendar frequently to find out when the scrambles will be held.

Event Title: Lee's Memorial Horseshoe Tournament

This is a special Horseshoe Tournament to honor one of our "Lost Turtles, Lee". The tournament starts at 1pm at the Turtle Lake Resort Horseshoe Pit. Lee always ran the Horseshoe Tournaments in the past and since his passing this is our way of paying tribute to such a wonderful man. Horseshoes is an outdoor game played between two people (or two teams of two people) using four horseshoes and two throwing targets (stakes) set in a sandbox area. Horseshoes is easy to learn. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Look for the Event board located at the Turtle Lake Resort's outdoor pool for the sign-up sheets. To ensure you have a wonderful time playing, our events will be blind draw tournaments. Come play and have fun!

This is destined to become an annual TLR event, and we want to start the summer out right! Starting at 6 Pm, our Pool Block Party will feature a Memorial Day Tribute, a "calling of their names" followed by a moment of silence, to remember the "Lost Turtles" that have passed.

Immediately following our Memorial Day Tribute will be our Turtle Lake Resort Pool Block Party Potluck. If you're just here for the weekend and don't have a dish to pass, don't worry, there'll be plenty for all. There will be a Craft Show from 7PM to 8:30PM. The entire event will be in the vicinity of our new Outdoor Pool. So come one, come all to the biggest event of the weekend that formally opens the summer season at Turtle Lake Resort. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Welcome to our Family Friendly Community here at Turtle Lake Resort Finish the evening dancing under the stars to our live band. If the weather doesn't cooperate, we'll just move the Party to the Clubhouse.

Holiday Mini-Tourneys

Mini-Tourneys are held on Holiday Weekends. The winning team receives T-shirts. Teams will be evenly divided; "round robin" and playoff games will all be held on the day of the tourneys. Tourneys start at 1:00PM. Entrance fee is $5.00 Sign up by noon. Some tournament experience is recommended.
