Given Mike Stanley’s penchant toward brutal honesty, spiced up with a healthy dose of insatiable wit, it’s not difficult to see why he was named “Best Chicago Stand-up Comedian” in a Peoples Choice poll done by the Chicago Reader and “Best Detroit Comedian” by HOUR Magazine.

Originally hailing from Detroit, and after spending a decade honing his craft in the Windy City of Chicago, Mike tours constantly, both domestically and internationally.

Some of the comedians Mike has performed with include: Jerry Seinfeld, Robin Williams, Dave Attell, Doug Stanhope, Larry Miller, Andy Kindler, Christopher Titus, Gary Valentine, Marc Curry, The Sklar Brothers, Brian Posehn, John Heffron, Kyle Kinane, Ben Bailey, Jim Jeffries, Glenn Wool, Demetri Martin, Hannibal Buress, Kurt Metzger, Nick Thune.

Don’t miss out on an incredible opportunity to see his performance!

Clothing Optional 5K “FUN RUN”

Saturday, June 27th, 2026 - Starting Time 10AM

Our Annual 5K Fun Run differs from most others because, at Turtle Lake Resort, clothing is optional for our event. Wear clothing if you wish or join in with most of our competitors and wear nothing. Our 5K is run entirely on our private grounds. After the fun run, stay for the day and enjoy our outdoor or indoor pool or hot tub. We have a dance scheduled for the race day that you are welcome to stay for at no additional cost beyond your 5K registration fee! Rental rooms and RV sites are also available for those wishing to spend the night or stay longer.

The Race Registration Fee is $50 for “online” or “mail-in” registration. Registration at Turtle Lake Resort on the event day is also available at the same rate.

Turtle Lake Member Registration Fee is $20.00

WE PROVIDE A FINISH LINE TIMING DISPLAY SO YOU WILL KNOW YOUR TIME.

THE FIRST 120 PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A PARTICIPATION MEDAL COMMEMORATING THEIR PARTICIPATION.

No cameras are allowed, so your privacy is assured!

Are you fascinated by the idea of competing in a nude 5K fun run? Give it a try! You will enjoy the experience, everyone does!

2027 Nude Olympics

Starting Friday, July 2nd, and concluding Saturday, July 10th, Turtle Lake Resort will host our annual Nude Olympics. Although a true Olympiad occurs every four years, ours is an annual event. It is thought that the early Olympians in ancient Greece competed in the nude. We intend to carry on that fine tradition. For a nominal $10 entry fee you may participate in as few or as many events as you wish. Gold, silver, and bronze medals will be awarded in each event.
