Bean Bag Toss also know as Cornhole is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing bags of corn at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores 3 points, while one on the platform scores 1 point. Play continues until a team or player reaches the score of 21.

Event Title: Watervolleyball Hours
Where: Clubhouse Pool

Water Volleyball is played in the Resort's indoor pool in the Clubhouse on most every Friday nights, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings. All visitors and Members are invited and welcomed to play. In addition to these hours there are also several Water Volleyball Tournaments scheduled during the colder months (see our Web Calendar for these events).
At all other times the Clubhouse pool is available for our Guests and Members use.
The scheduled hours are:
Fridays: 8:00PM to 9:30PM
Saturdays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM & 7PM to 8:30PM
Sundays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM
Note: During certain Special Events the pool may be closed to volleyball play.

Our DJ will be hosting a Turtle Lake Resort Dance in the Resort Clubhouse tonight. During the warmer months the Dances will be held pool side next to our Outdoor Pool .Join us for a fun and entertaining evening.

A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room or pool side after 8:30 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area or pool side until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Everyone is welcome to join our 8 Ball Tournament. It's all for fun so don't be worried if your new to the game. There'll be plenty of help to get you started. Here's a brief description of how 8 Ball is played.
8 Ball is a pool game popular in much of the world. Played on a pool table with six pockets. 8 Ball is played with 16 balls: a cue ball, and 15 object balls consisting of seven striped balls, seven solid-colored balls and the black 8 ball. After the balls are scattered with a break shot, the players are assigned either the group of solid balls or the stripes once a ball from a particular group is legally pocketed. The ultimate object of the game is to legally pocket the eight ball in a called pocket, which can only be done after all of the balls from a player's assigned group have been cleared from the table.

Make early reservations for Turtle Lake Resorts Comedy Night. We will present two Comedians for your enjoyment this evening. A Turtle Lake Resort Party will follow for Comedy night ticket holders only. Admission: $20/person. Remember, Turtle Lake Resort's policy is BYOB.
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse tonight after 9:00 PM.

Volleyball fans, be sure to come out to TLR for the next Water Volleyball Tournament. The sign up board will be available in the clubhouse Friday night and Saturday morning. If you're interested in playing, please put your name on the list by 12:00 noon to be put in the pool.
After the volleyball there's Potluck supper held in the Clubhouse. All welcome to join in even if you're here for the day and can't bring a contribution!
