Russ Bono has been an entertainer in the greater St. Louis area for many years. He started out in the mid 1970's in local bands playing various area clubs. Later touring all over the country playing New York to Los Angeles with extended runs at the Aladdin Hotel on the "Las Vegas Strip". In recent years Russ had been writing music for Starstruck Publishing Co. then owned and operated by Nashville singing sensation Reba Mcintire. In 2001 Russ Started The Company Winkadoodle Music for Children. Selling original albums with children's names in the songs. Performing Live is Russ's forte, playing guitar, fiddle and singing his way through many styles of music. An entertaining time
is guaranteed!

Water Volleyball is played in the Resort's indoor pool in the Clubhouse on most every Friday nights, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings. All visitors and Members are invited and welcomed to play. In addition to these hours there are also several Water Volleyball Tournaments scheduled during the colder months (see our Web Calendar for these events). At times, there may not be enough participants so play is not possible and the pool is open for general use.
At all other times the Clubhouse pool is available for our Guests and Members use.
The scheduled hours are:
Fridays: 8:00PM to 9:30PM
Saturdays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM & 7PM to 8:30PM
Sundays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM
Note: If There is a Water Volleyball Tournament scheduled, regular Watervolleyball Hours are suspended.

What is Mölkky? It's like "Yard Bowling. Mölkky consists of tossing a short piece of wood ( the Mölkky) towards 12 numbered pins (the Skittles). If you knock down one Skittle, you get as many points as the number on the pin. If you knock down several of the Skittles, you get 1 point per fallen Skittle. Games are played to exactly 50 points. Our DJ will be hosting a Turtle Lake Resort Dance in the Resort Clubhouse tonight. Join us for a fun and entertaining evening.

The theme for tonight's Dance is "Clowns & Jokers"
A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 8:30 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $2.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes.

Water Volleyball is played in the Resort's indoor pool in the Clubhouse on most every Friday nights, Saturday mornings and Sunday mornings. All visitors and Members are invited and welcomed to play. In addition to these hours there are also several Water Volleyball Tournaments scheduled during the colder months (see our Web Calendar for these events). At times, there may not be enough participants so play is not possible and the pool is open for general use.
At all other times the Clubhouse pool is available for our Guests and Members use.
The scheduled hours are:
Fridays: 8:00PM to 9:30PM
Saturdays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM & 7PM to 8:30PM
Sundays: 11:00AM to 12:30PM
Note: If There is a Water Volleyball Tournament scheduled, regular Watervolleyball Hours are suspended.

We will be hosting a Fashion show with a bevy of beautiful TLR members as Models. The fashions they are modeling will be auctioned off as they model them around the pool. There will also be a silent "shoe" auction where you will write your bid on the shoes on display and seal it in an envelope till the end of the auction. Envelopes will be opened at the close of the fashion show and the highest silent bid will win!!
There will be minimum bids to defray the costs of the fashions purchased. Most bids will begin at $15 or less. The fashions will include resort wear as well as street wear and shoes!! So bring your money and your drinks and meet us at the pool for a fun an exciting show!! Proceeds from this auction will be used for member and youth activities. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Come play and have fun!

A note on "themes". Many of our Parties have themes. A theme is just a way to add some fun. If you're at the Resort and want to come to our Party but aren't prepared for the theme of the night's Party, don't be deterred from attending. If any place is "come as you are", it's Turtle Lake Resort!!!
Children are not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 8:30 PM on dance nights. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult.

Similar in many ways to horseshoes, Ladder Ball (also called Ladder Golf or Bolo Toss) can be played by people of all ages. Ladder Ball is played with 2 or more players or teams. Each player has 3 golf ball bolas. A bola is 2 golf balls attached by a nylon rope. The object of the game is to wrap your bolas around the steps of the ladder. The ladder consists of 3 steps, a top, middle and a bottom step. We want you to always feel welcome to participate in all of our events at Turtle Lake Resort. Look for the Event board located at the Turtle Lake Resort's outdoor pool for the sign up sheets. To ensure you have a wonderful time playing, our events will be blind draw tournaments. Come play and have fun!
