For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $3.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes. Check our Calendar frequently to find out when the scrambles will be held.

What do you get when you combine badminton, tennis and ping-pong? These are the ingredients for the sport known as pickleball. We're going to have a series of pickleball sessions on most Saturdays. If you know the game, come and find someone to play with. If you 'd like to learn to play the game, come and learn how. If tennis has become a bit much for you but you love the gane, pickleball may be the answer.

Children not permitted in the Clubhouse main room after 9:00 PM. Children (17 or under) are allowed in the Clubhouse Pool area until 11PM if accompanied by a responsible adult. For safety reasons the responsible adult must remain in the pool area with the child if they are under the age of 14.

Mini-Tourneys are held on Holiday Weekends. The winning team receives T-shirts. Teams will be evenly divided; "round robin" and playoff games will all be held on the day of the tourneys. Tourneys start at 1:00 PM. Entrance fee is $5.00 Sign up by noon. Some tournament experience is recommended.

Because our June 5K was so well received, we're going to offer another Turtle Lake Resort 5K this year, the "fall Edition", . Once we broached the idea of having another 5K this year there were many who applauded the idea and many who missed the first one that were glad to hear they'd get another chance this year to participate. So here we go. Mark Saturday, September 15th on your calendar to be at Turtle Lake Resort. Not a runner, no problem, we have a 5K walk for those who wish to take their exercise at a more leisurely pace.
Most entrants in our 5K chose to participate in the nude. If you feel more comfortable participating in running attire, you are welcome to do so. If you have never participated in an event such as our 5K in the nude, consider giving it a try. For those who wish to participate at a slower pace, our 5K also includes a group who walk the course.
Our 5K course winds through the grounds of the Resort. TLR provides a pace vehicle as well as race marshals positioned along the course. Vehicular traffic is barred from the course for the duration of the event. Join us for the 5K event and spend the weekend enjoying the amenities of Turtle Lake Resort. As always, the best guarantee of accommodations for this event is making your plans and reservations early.
Registration starts at 8:00. The 5K begins at 10:00.
