Have some wacky fun playing on our miniature golf course. It may look simple, but it's more of a challenge than you'd think. Teams of two will compete against each other, trying to get around and over all the obstacles in the fewest strokes. Be forewarned. The final hole - the turtle, can really be a bear. Join the competition to see what I mean.

TLR has several horseshoe courts and plans on having a number of tournaments through out the summer. Everyone is invited to participate in these competitions. Just show up at the horseshoe courts by the time of the event to sign up. Teams of two will be randomly drawn. Play goes to 21 points. In order not to be at a disadvantage, women will have a shorter pitching distance than men. More details about the game will be given out at the time of the tournament.

The evening will include our Karaoke Contest. The Karaoke Contest will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 with the dance following. Karaoke Contest nights t will be held throughout the summer with the finals held during Music Fest on Friday, August 27th at 6:00 PM

For all you golfers out there, be sure and join our golf scrambles which are held throughout the season. Tee off time is 9:00 AM at the Turtle Creek Golf Course, just a few miles from the Resort. Be sure and arrive at the golf course by 8:30 so randomly drawn teams of 4 can be put together. Prizes are awarded at most scrambles. A small cost of $2.00 for each player is collected at each scramble to defer the cost of the prizes. Check our Calendar frequently to find out when the scrambles will be held.

Disc Golf has become a very popular game, and TLR has set up its own course. The disc golf baskets are strategically placed through out the resort to make the game fun, and yet challenging. For most of the scrambles, teams are randomly drawn. The object is to throw and place the discs into the baskets in as few throws as possible. The team with the lowest score wins. Warning: while on the course, watch out for the pond!

Mini-Tourneys are held on Holiday Weekends. The winning team receives T-shirts. Teams will be evenly divided; "round robin" and playoff games will all be held on the day of the tourneys. Tourneys start at 1:00 PM. Entrance fee is $3.00 Sign up by noon. Some tournament experience is recommended.
